UpTown Royalty is a private studio that vets artist for professionalism, maturity and great musicianship. UpTown Royalty is not fully open to the public for recordings. Recording artists/etc are selected solely on a discretionary case by case basis.
Ollen (aka) "Tricky Rick" (Founder) a DC Native has been an Audio Engineer over 30 years and has been a musician for even longer.
Rick uses his experience and expertise to bring out the ultimate clarity with professional gear.
UpTown Royalty has hosted and been home to several celebrities in Film and Music such as Cory Hawkins (BLACKkKLANSMAN, Straight Outta Compton, Kong), Pauly Paul MTV (Siesta Keys), The Force MD’S , Calvin Miller (Def Jam Producer) Al Johnson, Miracle Thomas and more. UpTown Royalty provides Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Pre Production & Post Production services.
UpTown Royalty will soon be offering video production services Documentaries, Music video’s and short IF’s via a collaborative effort from Media partners.
